At a time in our world when everything we thought we knew, our safe place, was being challenged.

Living under the Covid-19 black cloud, we were in a state of flux.

This painting was painted from March -October 2020

 

My work conveys the first escape of the virus in panel 1. Dr Li in Wuhan, Italians singing from their balconies.

In panel 2 Tibetan prayer flags, the MCG, queues outside Centrelink, drive through testing labs.

Panel 3 cruise ships docked, baking and sharing, diving into love, fear and the unveiling and revealing.
